Opportunities to Learn and Upgrade Your Skills

The training opportunities at IR continue to expand with several subjects to select from.  Courses run the gamut from live, in-classroom training to live, virtual training.  All courses are open to group instruction and select courses can be arranged for private sessions.  Instruction is provided by experts on each subject and feedback from past courses has been exceptional in all cases.  New dates are always being added; we announce them on LinkedIn or Facebook as they come up.  Be sure to follow us to stay in the know.  In the meantime, here is a list of the courses we have coming up in the next couple of months.

IR at Canadian Trade Shows

Ever since we started to carry SciAps handheld analyzers over five years ago, they have been a huge hit.  Folks have recognized the benefits of a light, fast and accurate analyzer in either LIBS or XRF.  We’ve expanded our client support in response to the fantastic interest we’ve received.  And the interest continues to grow.  So much so, that some of our team will be attending a handful of trade shows in our cross-Canada SciAps tour.  Will we be heading to your corner of the country?  We hope to see you there.

Spring Dates for All Courses Now Set

Following a rigorous review by NRCan, IR is officially recognized as a XRF Analyzer Operator Accepted Training Organization.  In addition to that, we are also an official Special XRF Examination Centre.  This approval is in place for both our Edmonton and Burlington locations.  So, what did we do when we were notified of the approvals?  We set dates for some upcoming courses of course!

Edmonton Location – February 22, 2023

Burlington, ON – April 12, 2023

New In-person Course for NDT in Canada

By partnering with top educational organizations, we are able to bring some of the best learning opportunities to individuals in NDT.  We are happy to announce the introduction of new, in-person training: Digital Radiography Course.  Classes will be held at each of our Edmonton and Burlington locations this spring and will be provided by AINDT at IR Supplies and Services.

Now Offered in Both Locations

At IR we’re really excited about being able to offer the upcoming CEDO course at our Edmonton location.  And we are not alone.  We’ve had several people sign up with early enrolment.  In fact, we’ve already reached our minimum enrolment.  Part of what makes this course so special, besides it being the first time that we are offering this course, is that we are holding it live and in-person.  Nothing compares to in-person learning that comes with hands-on instruction.  The downfall is that we will have limited space.  So, we are doing something about that.  We are now offering a second date at our Burlington location.

Edmonton CEDO Course:              October 17 to 21, 2022

Burlington CEDO Course:              November 21 to 25, 2022
