We’ve received a great deal of interest in the digital radiography course and now we’re pleased to say a date has been set. Join us on September 30 to October 4, 2024, in Edmonton, for this 40-hour computed and digital radiography course that was designed to transition conventional film practices into advanced CR/DR techniques. With instruction from Matthew Junkert, senior NDT instructor at the American Institute of Nondestructive Testing (AINDT), the course is the starting point for computed and digital radiographic training. Designed around Carestream NDT CR/DR systems, this training course is meant to meet and exceed the requirements as outlined in ANSI/ASNT CP-105-2016.
From April 15th through to the 18th, ISRI will be holding their 2024 annual convention. It’s heading back to Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, where it will bring over 6,000 industry professionals together. This is the largest recycled materials industry event in the world, and IR will be there. Find us at booth #1619, where we will join SciAps. Together we will demonstrate the XRF and LIBS handheld analyzers that focus on the needs of the scrap recycling industry.
The acquisition of our newest location in Quebec has resulted in a whirlwind of excitement at IR. Not only have we brought a talented team of individuals on board, but we’ve been working feverishly behind the scenes to ensure the clients will experience a seamless transition of their business to IR. One of the most exciting parts of that transition is to ensure the Agfa brand of products continues to be available to them.
Transport Canada has introduced a new requirement in which organizations engaged in the transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) must register with Transport Canada. The Client Identification Database (CID) will be used by Transport Canada to better assess risk, enhance overall safety measures, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Transport Canada and registered persons or organizations.

In October 2021, we introduced a special financing service at IR. By taking advantage of the financing options that we offer, all that changed. Instead, clients were able to reduce the immediate financial outlay and at the same time enhance their business by using the equipment right away.
