The BB 2.0 series lamps–Helios, Ikaros and Artemis–are powerful with wide UV output. Eight high quality LEDs, with white light block filters that do not suffer from solarization, provide a large coverage in excess of 10 inches / 26 cm, and weigh less than many comparable products. The BB 2.0 series comes in a mains operated model that weighs just 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs), and a battery-operated model (DUO) that weighs just 1.7 kg (3.7 lbs). All BB 2.0 series models have an ingress protection certification of IP68.

Description

The Labino BB 2.0 Ikaros is a penetrant resistant and powerful handheld UV light that produces the largest beam from any handheld light available.  It is useful for covering large areas and is widely used either in the field, on an MPI bench or a penetrant line. The Ikaros has been tested to comply with both ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well as with the internal requirements of Rolls-Royce RRES 90061, Airbus AITM6-1001 and others. It generates an intensity of approximately 4 000 μw/cm2 at 38 cm (15 inches). The running time of the battery version is 7 hours. The beam size generated above 1 000 μw/cm2 is approximately 10.6 inches / 27 cm.

The BB 2.0 Helios UV LED light is a powerful, penetrant resistant and with an Ingress Protection 68 (IP68 Waterproof).  The beam profile is the largest and smoothest than any other portable UV LED light on the market today. The BB 2.0 Helios model has a beam diameter of 11 inches / 28 cm and with intensities that does not exceed ≈ 10 000 μW/cm2.

All BB 2.0 Series models carry an IP68 certification.  Comes in both battery (DUO) and mains power.
